Formerly Club Spaceland, The Satellite, paid tribute to Black Sabbath as part of their monthly tribute series. I photographed the event which featured the bands: Electric Flower Group, Sabrosa Purr, Mr. Elevator & the Brain Hotel, Cinderella Motel, Neon Knights (Brian Whelan, Mitch Marine, John Schreffler Jr & Johnny G), Roman Candle Wars, Black Lullabies.

3/7/12: Torche, the sludge metal band from Miami, rocks the socks off a fully packed Double Door in Wicker Park, Chicago. Torche is on tour with Corrosion of Conformity, Valient Thorr and Black Cobra. The band performed in support of their upcoming full lenght album Harmonicraft, scheduled  to be released in 4/24/12.
